Regarded as top-notch geek and/or nerd-extraordinaire, I am the Quiffed Pixelsmith; a creative young professional who specialises in the technological arts. I’m highly experienced working with a diverse range of digital mediums; if it’s creative and involves technology - I’ve probably tried it! My core areas of expertise are in graphic design, motion graphics and video production. As a freelancer I've worked professionally in all these creative fields and as a result have extensive industry experience under my belt. I’ve got a lot to give but still have plenty to learn and eager to get as much experience as possible. Interested in having me along? Feel free to get in touch!
I’m regularly commissioned as a freelance video editor for the Visual Radio team at the BBC. This exciting work has involved me working in the conceptualising, editing, and overall production of both internal content and public videos.
I’ve been privileged enough to have industry experience working with the award-winning design practice Screenmedia. Focusing on web design, I worked in their Glasgow studio alongside an incredibly talented team of creative professionals.
A short film that I produced, shot, animated and edited won first place in the Department for Education’s “Lights Camera Parliament” national film-making competition and was screened as part of their “Arts In Parliament” exhibition.
